FreshGrade is looking for a talented Designer to help design the next generation of educational assessment tools for teachers, students, parents and administrators. Our primary focus is on mobile, tablet and web application experiences.
Candidates for this role should have experience designing interfaces for a variety of web and mobile applications. You will be involved in all aspects of product design and development so flexibility and versatility are essential. Your responsibilities will include planning and prototyping new features, researching user needs, designing interfaces and behaviours for features and improvements and collaborating with the rest of the product design team. You must be able to use constructive criticism and a collaborative development process to create outstanding products for our users.
You Need:
- A passion for user-centred design and an obsession for quality
- Great taste!
- Design-related degree with 3+ years experience
- Understanding of user interface patterns and research
- Experience designing web and mobile applications, with an understanding of differences in design inherent in different platforms (web vs. mobile vs. tablet)
- Experience working with and evolving established design guidelines
- Ability to manage yourself, work on multiple projects at once, and deliver designs on time
