Position Description

As a web developer for Roketto you will be given the task of developing new websites, as well as maintaining and updating existing client websites. These tasks will require you to be comfortable coding in HTML5, CSS, Javascript and PHP.

Most of your work will involve customizing, updating, and building websites on Concrete5 or WordPress. Experience and knowledge of these platforms is extremely valuable.

We are looking for someone with minimum 1 year experience in the field who can hit the ground running. Training will be minimal as we need someone to help us out immediately with our current projects. You should enjoy solving problems independently and keeping up to date with the newest and most effective methods of web development.

Qualifications

- HTML(5), CSS, JavaScript + jQuery, PHP
- Basic understand of importing & exporting MySQL databases
- Basic Linux command line
- Setting up CMS websites from scratch
- Experience with media queries and building responsive websites
- Excellent at solving the challenges of cross browser rendering (desktop [IE, FF, Chrome, Safari] and mobile[iOS, Android])

Bonus Skills

- SASS
- JSON, AJAX
- Experience with GIT

Education
