VeriCorder Technology is a leader in the field of mobile media editing and online publishing systems. We work primarily with emerging media companies around the globe. JOB SUMMARY

The successful candidate will work with our development team to produce the world’s most advanced online publishing system. We aim to change the world and are looking for a programmer with broad vision, the ability to work well in a team, a ‘McGyver’ approach to problem solving, and an eye for system design.

KEY FUNCTIONS

  • Coding of systems functions for our integrated products in Google App Engine and Amazon Web Services, involving database, network security, embedding meta data, and transcoding of media data.
  • iOS app development support through building modules utilized for network access, security protocols, graphical user interface, and design elements.
  • Communicating with team members in a small team environment, taking responsibility for their role, and helping the team reach its goals in an Agile environment.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Degree in Computer Science preferred or equivalent programming experience.
  • Language experience in C, or Objective C, and Python is necessary.
  • Knowledge of other coding languages used in web applications is beneficial.
  • Experience with iOS app programming.
  • Familiar with frameworks such as jQuery, Django, and Jinja are a benefit.
  • Experience using Eclipse for Google App Engine.
  • Network security protocols.
  • Systems design experience.
