How to be Awesome by Daryl Chymko
Daryl Chymko's working title for his presentation was "Tales from the freelancing trenches", which pretty much says it all. The topics covered will have broad appeal to not only freelancers but anyone who desires to be more successful in their work.
The Evening
Yes, we here at OKDG HQ know that it's been a long time since our last event. Much has been cooking here in Kelowna—new collaborations are forming, the industry is thriving and companies are shipping. We would like to enthusiastically invite you to catch up with all your nerdy friends at the upcoming OKDG meetup on March the 22nd, 2011.
The Bike Shop Cafe and Catering Co. has warmly welcomed us back to use their restaurant as a meeting venue. There will be food, beverages and alcohol available throughout the evening.
The Event
Our first presenter will be Ryan Lahay talking about the challenges of development for mobile devices.
Following Ryan's presentation will be Daryl Chymko providing insights on the world of the freelancer.

Please note the doors open at at 7:30pm and presentations will start at 8:00pm sharp. Please do not show up too early before 7:30pm as we are setting up the room and dealing with facilities.
