Derek Wilson is a Career Development Practitioner with the Neil Squire Society, a national nonprofit organization with a mission to increase the social and economic participation of Canadians with disabilities.
A native of Southern Ontario, Derek has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology (Guelph), a Master of Arts in Leadership (RRU), and professional certification in both Teaching English as a Foreign Language (VCC) and Career Development (Kwantlen).
Derek’s 18-year career spans the public, private, education, and nonprofit sectors in North America, Europe, and East Asia. He currently serves as a member of the Southern Interior Employment Leadership Network, the CNIB Standing Committee on Public Education and Advocacy, and is a past Director with the National Educational Association of Disabled Students.
