I have been designing, architecting, programming, administrating, maintaining and otherwise working with computers, databases, networks and web sites for two decades.

My industry experience includes senior development roles at SCO and IBM, as well as being one of the first employees at ActiveState, where I wrote the Perl Package Manager (PPM).

I have been involved with Linux since 1992, have been an instructor for the Solaris CSA certification, and have had significant exposure to almost every important software technology of the last two decades—from Apache to Zimbra and everything in between.

I hold an Advanced B.Sc. degree in Computational Science and am a Sun Solaris Certified System Administrator.
