Summary of Position
ROX is seeking a Senior Web Designer with programming experience to lead the development of ROX Brand’s online creative offer, providing best-in-class web strategy and execution in interactive design, usability and technology. She or he will take a proactive role in improving the user experience, brand equity, and visual design of our own and key client sites. The right candidate will have the energy to inspire, the experience to lead, and the ability to produce excellent online strategy and creative results working closely with in- and out-of-house programmers, creatives, and interactive producers to deliver all project requirements.

Specific Responsibilities

• Lead our interactive group, creating strategy-driven web graphics, wireframes, and concepts to coincide with business / brand strategy, and marketing plans
• Attend client meetings and communicate interactive solutions to customer needs
• Consult with creative team to ensure all deliverables meet or exceed business objectives, brand guidelines and creative briefs 
• Stay abreast of industry and technology changes which could advance our efforts, improve channels and augment customer interaction and experience

Technical Qualifications

• 4 year degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience 
• 3-5 years experience in website design / development
• Experience with the latest design and programming platforms including, but not limited to, WordPress, Drupal, PHP, HTML, CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, etc.
• Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of web for mobile and mobile applications
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Comfortable working closely with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work well as a team player but demonstrates skills as a leader 
• Ability to problem solve in a team environment and (at times) wear multiple hats.
• Works well under pressure and with tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• SEO / search marketing experience would be considered an asset
